Wow, a break
It feels weird having nothing to do since I've been so busy this past month with school work. All my teachers find some sadistic amusement in throwing projects on us the week before finals, so I have been busy working on those, and then, of course, the actual finals took place on Wednesday and Thursday. But now I'm free of any work until I get some at school tomorrow.

I got my hair cut yesterday. I got sidebangs once again and I got all of my layers trimmed, adding shorter ones in the back. I think it looks cute so it doesn't bug me. I got about three inches of my hair cut off so it is a lot shorter but my hair grows super fast anyways. But yeah, my hairdresser asked me if she could style it because she had some extra time before her next client. She's so sweet; she curled it and I loved it. :) She didn't even charge me.

I haven't been writing anything lately and that explains my lack of updates on fictionpress, so if any of my readers are reading this, I apologize.

I just read Shattered Mirror by Amelia Atwater Rhodes for the second time. She's so great; she blows my mind everytime and she definately needs to have a sequel to that book. The ending practically begged for one.

And that about sums it up. I hope everyone had a good weekend because I know I did. :) Have a good week!

Lauren.

so, you just mentioned one of my favorite Atwater-Rhodes books! Seriously, i completely agree... it's a beautiful book. And, slightly off topic, the movie Blood and Chocolate is based on a book by an author that's alot like Amelia. You should check it out. Especially Blood and Chocolate becasue, seriously, the book was awesome and they're making a movie out of it which will be AWESOME! okay.. yeah, shutting up now.

Haha, yeah. I almost read Blood and Chocolate but I knew what happened at the end of the book and I'm a sucker for happy endings. Lol, and plus the main character sounded like someone I wouldn't like in a book, yeah know? She was like stuck up or something, I dunno. =P

I liked the book, surprisingly... but that's probably because I didnt really like Aiden, the leading male character, so I wasnt too upset about Gabriel winning out. However, I'm not too pleased with the casting for the movie but there's not much I can do about that, now can I? If you're into vampire love stories, Twilight by Stephanie Meyer is amazing and the sequal is just as good. I'm serious, I devoured those books and am currently waiting the next book in the series. Meyer has alot of info on her site and if you want the link, I'll send it to you. But honestly, her Twilight series is just... breathtaking!

okay... I'm sounding like a dork now... bye!!!

Yeah, I know. I love Twilight and my friend let me borrow the sequel because I didn't want to pay for it, but unfortunately I had a ton of stuff to do for school at that time so I ended up reading like 100 pages then giving it back to her. Lol.
